We treat a number of mental health disorders and substance abuse. We provide a neutral ground to individuals, families, and couples. You can find the office located in central Marble Falls, Texas. We trust you will find our location as a place to feel safe and relaxing.
Our focus is to help individuals find healing and balance, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan that will meet your needs.
We promise to be there for you every step of your journey. Our goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life. As with any journey, there is work involved. Together we can work to help you rise from the challenges that you face.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Often times new medical conditions can cause stress or anxiety for both the patient and their family. Sometimes taking on the role of a caregiver for a spouse or parent can cause issues when the roles in the relationship change. The death of a loved one can sometimes impact us in ways that we do not understand. We can often find ourselves feeling alone, depressed, anxious and feeling as there is no where to turn. Counseling can help guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Relationship issues stem from many different factors in our life. Counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship. Sandra has experience in working with civilian and military/veteran families.
Substance abuse therapists evaluate and treat people struggling with addictions to alcohol or other drugs. They may also provide family members with the opportunity to practice support strategies learned during family therapy. We have clinicians available to help you during your healing process.
Sandra has over 20 years of clinical experience. This enables her to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. She treats a number of mental health disorders, and provides a neutral ground to individuals, families, and couples.
“Life can be rough, and sometimes we need a little help getting by and coping. I have always been led to help people, and have found my calling in counseling people through their trials. I have worked with individuals from age 12 to 105 with various kinds of issues. Counseling may be necessary for a short time or for a longer period. For some it is hard work. My goal is to help you build coping skills to get you over the challenges in your daily life and return to a sense of balance and serenity. Everyone has the ability to grow and improve their situation. I help you identify your strengths and work with you to expand your emotional tool box so you may tackle your challenges! I look forward to working with you!”

Brainspotting (BSP) can help decrease depression, anxiety, phobias and addictions. Brainspotting is used with all areas of trauma, including survivors of war, natural disasters and abuse. It is also being utilized with medical conditions, such as traumatic brain injuries, strokes, fibromyalgia, headaches, other pain issues, and preparation and recovery from surgery.
It is possible to release trauma from either a distressed or calm place in the body. The power of BSP is that one does not necessarily have to relive the traumatic event at the same level of intensity as the original trauma. Because of this, it is possible to resolve the trauma in a more contained manner. Trauma and stress can often overwhelm the nervous system.
With the support of the therapist, BSP helps the client discharge the trauma and calm the nervous system. Here is an informational video: https://vimeo.com/187493121

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
Providers must inform all self-pay and uninsured patients that a good faith estimate of charges is available.
A good faith estimate of expected charges must be given to the patient within specified time frames (e.g., for services scheduled at least 3 days prior to the appointment date, no later than 1 business day after the date of scheduling).
The estimate is not binding. However, patients may challenge a bill if the charges substantially exceed the estimated amount (any amount over $400).
If there are changes to the information in the good faith estimate, a new estimate should be provided.
The estimate can include anticipated charges for recurring services that are expected to be provided within the next 12 months (e.g., 10-20 psychotherapy sessions). If treatment continues beyond 12 months, the provider must give the patient a new estimate. Please note this is NOT a treatment recommendation, rather just a form created to ensure patients do not receive surprise bills they did not expect.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a session bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
